Translations
Semantico can translate your enriched content into multiple locales, so a single product can be published in every market you sell to.
What can be translated
Section titled “What can be translated”Translation applies to the content Semantico generates:
- Product name
- Product description
- Custom attributes / sections
- Open (free-form) attributes
Each locale keeps its own version of these fields, and every version is editable.
How to translate
Section titled “How to translate”Translation is one of the generation actions. From a product (or a bulk selection), run the Translate action and choose:
- Translate everything — every translatable field into your configured locales.
- Specific fields — for example only the name, or only the description.
- Re-translate — force a fresh translation even where one already exists.
Like all generation, translation runs in the background and consumes credits.
Locales
Section titled “Locales”Your workspace has a default locale used when you create content without specifying one. Additional locales are configured for your workspace — contact your account manager to add a new market. When you sync to a store that supports multiple languages (such as Shopify), Semantico pushes each locale’s content to the matching store language.
